About Dr. Chavez 

Dr. Anthony Chavez is a Board-Certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist and a proud Houston native. After graduating from The University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science, he earned his medical degree from The University of Utah in 1977. Dr. Chavez completed his residency at Baylor College of Medicine, where he served as Administrative Chief Resident. He previously served as an assistant clinical professor at Baylor College of Medicine and was Chief of the Medical Staff at Women's Hospital of Texas where he also served on the Board of Trustees. Active in global health, he has volunteered with 'Faith in Practice' and 'Agape in Action' in Guatemala for over three decades. Outside of his professional life, Dr. Chavez enjoys family time with his wife of 56 years, their three sons, and their grandchildren. 

Clinical Interests 

Dr. Chavez is dedicated to exceptional perinatal care, guiding women through every step of their pregnancy and postpartum journey with warmth and expertise. Renowned for his outstanding bedside manner, he has earned the trust of patients and their families across generations. In addition to his perinatal focus, Dr. Chavez offers comprehensive gynecologic care, including both surgical and non-surgical solutions for a wide range of women's health concerns.
